Our 15 minutes of fame

Our claim to fame is the Free The Weatherfield One ‘campaign’, a spoof campaign featuring Deirdre from Coronation Street that we (in our guise as The Coronation Street Fan Club) ran with The Sun newspaper. It caught the attention of the media over a three week period: every national newspaper and TV news programme covered it; members of the public held ?demonstrations?; and the Prime Minister and the Home Secretary joined in when a question was asked in the House.
